Salvation

Salvation.

Inspired by so many things!
This was initially meant as a simple photograph of me, lying on my bed in my white victorian dress, as a tribute to two of my favourite songs.

That is why I painted my eyes black.

Actually, a simple photograph was all I planned - until I got my new notebook, including PHOTOSHOP! I've always wanted to have Photoshop, I just had GIMP. All these new ways of editing and manipulating...great, especially the lighting effects have totally impressed me, which is why my photograph needed one, too. It has never taken so much time for me to edit a photograph, and still I'm not sure whether this is perfect...

But it definitely visualises my current mood.

I feel like people are looking into my eyes and don't see a thing...
I feel like there are two personalities within me, good and bad, confident and abysmally afraid (10 days until my final exam), the calm one shown outwards, and the one deep down inside me slowly going insane...

I desire salvation.
